The stories had fun premises, and the author clearly has a great imagination, but the awkward writing drags the stories down. Sometimes, they got very confusing. In one story where there was a female teacher convincing a female student to deliver a message to the student’s father, I became very confused, because the author used female pronouns multiple times without clarifying which character was being described. As the subtitle tells us, this is a collection of short stories aimed at young children. There are some cute ideas in here, but the manuscript definitely needs to be sent to a proofreader. The accompanying art is also childlike, which is perhaps intentional but honestly, I don't know. For those looking for simple tales to entertain kids at bedtime and want something different, this could do the trick, but the presentation needs some work.
