This is a Cinderella and Prince Charming style romance story. Annalise is very young, insecure, and lacks self-esteem, and even though she is in love with Elijah, isn't sure whether he loves her back. Annalise owns a special magical pendant that allows her to change her face and physical appearance to make her more attractive, which can only last for 24 hours.
