TIMELESS HONOR was so good I couldn’t put it down! This time travel romance has a fun twist—when Jaye travels back to 1735 via a portal while on vacation in Bolivia, she winds up on the doorstep of Lucas, the man her grandmother (who is originally from that time) was briefly married to before fleeing through a portal of her own and coming through to the present day. Lucas has lived with the whole town thinking he killed Jaye’s grandmother, never realizing that she has lived a long and happy life

A Journey Through Time and Love
This is a romance story that seamlessly blends time travel with the concept of fated soulmates. Jaye and Lucas are beautifully crafted characters: full of life, depth, and warmth who immediately draw you in. Their chemistry is undeniable from the moment they meet, with a sweet spark that naturally blossoms into something profound and enduring.

Just like buses, you've been waiting a while for a historical romance set in the 18th century and then two come along at once! I had the pleasure of reading Etched in Stone, and now Timeless Honor and although the premise is similar, the books are very different.
I am a big fan of Amber's writing, having read many of her Arresting Onyx series and in Timeless Honor, Amber doesn't disappoint. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to craft dialogue and her characters are always well rounded, ...more

This was a well-written and well-paced romance about a young woman named Jaye who travels through time from the present back to the 1700s. There, she meets a man, Lucas, who, it turns out, was her grandmother's husband from an arranged marriage. (The marriage only lasted a couple of hours as her grandmother ran away from it, stumbled through a cave, and found herself in the 1960s.) Now Jaye finds herself with him, and falling in love with him. How will this relationship end? Will she go back hom

A classic accidental time-travel-turned-romance story with an intriguing circular plot spanning several generations: a grandmother travels from the past to the present and stays, while her granddaughter later journeys back in time. To complicate matters further, Jaye falls for the very man her grandmother had been forced to marry – though she famously fled on their wedding night.

I have not reviewed a Time Travel Romance story before, so was very intrigued to see how a story combining these two genres would work. As it turned out, I was impressed.
Jaye has a grandmother who has time travelled back to the 18th century and who married someone from the past. And one day, Jaye ends up doing just that - meeting the handsome Lucas Kenway, the Baron Hawksatter whom she is attracted to and falls in love with. But Lucas has a tragic history, and is shunned by the local townsfolk ...more

I love the time travel genre, I feel like its such a versatile one, and Timeless Honor definitely takes it in an interesting direction. The concept of it, an accidental time travel leading to unexpected love and then the choice between the past and the future, reminded me a bit of the show Outlander. I liked the attention to detail when it came to the dialects of the characters, and the prose was fun and easy to follow along with. I enjoyed the read!
