I just love all the books in Amber Daulton’s Arresting Onyx series and Arresting Benjamin may be my favorite yet! Belle is a singer in a band. Benjamin owns an auto shop. They were together for only one night and he can’t stop thinking about her… but she’s hiding a secret. I loved so many elements about this book. Belle’s fiery energy was probably my favorite part. She and Ben had good chemistry in every scene, whether they were in a pub, or in the doctor’s office (my fave scene!) The Onyx gang ...more

Wow. This is not my usual read, so it was very steamy and sensual from the start. The descriptions and banter are pretty catchy, and it moves right along. The plot of the story revolves around Belle being targeted by a sinister stalker who is from Belle's past. The lovers must do everything they can to protect themselves from this individual. What I liked most was the amount of suspense that ...more

Disclaimer: Belle was one of my favourite side characters from previous books in the series, so it's actually good that we get to spend more time with her. She's a feisty, independent woman, who moonlights as a musician in bars during the evenings. I like the start of the book, how Belle and Benji have already hooked up prior to the novel and Belle is pregnant with Benji's child, and although they clearly lust for each other, Belle is unsure about Benji's capabilities to be both a partner and fa ...more
