This is another steamy crime romance thriller by Amber Daulton, and while it isn't always my usual read, it was interesting enough to draw me in. The scenes are hot and exciting, and it has a healthy mix of drama, love, lust, mystery, and action. I wasn't expecting it to be about a prison gang that has plans for Mason either, but that is an interesting part of the plot. I read Arresting Mason while sunbathing on a rooftop, and it was a pleasure to read from start to finish. There wasn't a boring page throughout! I appreciated the story’s momentum and it was hard to put down. I love Daulton’s focus on the strong female character, that’s definitely something I always look for in a novel. The dialogue was smooth, reflecting a high professionalism. I also like how my opinion of the male character improved. At first I didn’t like him at all, but he slowly grew on me

This is the third book Ive read by Amber Daulton, and of the three, this was the most ambitious. It turns out to be a bit longer than the other two, and offers a drama that is contemporary, and at least somewhat plausible, though it stretches plausibility a tiny bit for the sake of fun. "Arresting Mason" is, if nothing else, a steamy read for the fans of bad-boy romances. While the characters and plot are fairly stock, Daulton does craft some intriguing conflicts for the cast. The plot kicks off with the meet-cute: Mia, while driving distracted, nearly hits the newly paroled Mason, who is crossing the street. This a well written romance story, even though Romance isn't my preferred genre the author has put a lot of work into the story, so decided it should get a good rating. It was great that Mason was eventually able to escape his life in the gang for good, though won't go into too many details about this to avoid spoilers.

Arresting Mason (Arresting Onyx, #1) by Amber Daulton (Goodreads Author) was a good read where we have Mason, an ex-convict, being involved with Mia. This is written for a mature audience, where we see their intimacy with each other while they become involved in later action scenes. I liked the dialogue between the characters.
