Plot: The conflict between the shadow warriors escalates when Kullos begins building an army. Driven by Catriona’s (Cat) thirst for knowledge, she seeks to understand the shadow warrior and persuades Daelen to accept her help.

Four and Half Stars
I enjoyed the first book in the Salvation of Tempestria series and this one was just as entertaining. Book two, Gathering Storm by Gary Stringer, continues the backstory of the clever half-faery, Catriona and shadow warrior, Daelen StormTiger as told to us by their daughter, Arshes Megane, an immortal druid (sorry, a bit of a spoiler alert). I enjoyed Cat and Daelen’s quirky first meeting as you can feel the chemistry building. Then the evolution of their relationship and the ...more
I enjoyed the first book in the Salvation of Tempestria series and this one was just as entertaining.
