I'm a bit older than the intended YA audience for this book (maybe OA or Old Adult might fit better), but I found the book entertaining, engrossing and thoroughly enjoyable and I would recommend it to be read by any age, but especially YA readers.

This is a great YA read! From the get go, our heroine, Emma Deacon, or Emde, is thrown into a non-stop whirlwind that combines history with fantasy in an exciting adventure. At a museum, she and her classmates get some heartstopping bad news, she finds a--historical something that she picks up, and it goes from there.
