If I Stay was a book that my teenage daughter recommended I read. She saw the movie and was moved beyond tears with the powerful story. That said, I went into it with a good idea of what happened, but did not realize how reading the lines in black & white would truly affect me. As a reader looking in from the outside into the lives of this beautiful family, I felt as if I knew them. This book was good i enjoyed all of it apart from the middle which was a bit boring. Other than that it was a good book. It was a bit boring in the middle but i read some from the end and it got good again.
i'm really confused about this book. i enjoyed it but i didn't like it. or maybe i liked it but didn't enjoy it. ugh. i don't know. it was way too heavy.
