***Fourth time re-read! :)
The second book in the Song of Ice and Fire series is just as good as the first one, in my opinion. One of the things you come to expect when reading this series is to expect the unexpected, and that anything can happen to any character, even if it is a protagonist. Needless to say, this book is gritty and harsh, but the characetrs are all so amazing and full of depth you can't help but be drawn in!

Another fantastic book and better than the series! I know that the later books truly diverge from the series and I hope they (the books) continue to be just as awesome!
