This book was absolutely incredible. The level of detail throughout was stunning. From the very beginning, I had a sense of where the story was heading, yet the ending still managed to completely shock me as everything fell into place. I wholeheartedly adore this book and know I'll be talking about it for a long time.

Wow was this entertaining, 3.5⭐️! While most of the plot line was predictable, Im actually interested in the direction we went in at the end of the book and didn’t see that specific twist coming. Im excited to see how we get to a resolution in book 2. The magic system is really creative.

4.5. not gonna lie, i was very confused for the first 30% but im glad i pushed through. i really liked this magic system & the gothic setting was 10/10. i wish the enemies had enemied a little longer before becoming lovers but i will look past it
