Y'alllllll. What the actual f. I literally finished this book 10 minutes ago, cried, sent a snapchat talking about how amazing this book is, cried again, and now I'm here. I usually finish a book within a couple of days but I had a feeling to take my time with this one and O M G. SOOOOOOO beautifully written and Schwab did a phenomenal job wrapping everything up together at the end. Like Bea doing her thesis on Addie's polaroids and Henry's book. I wish I had annotated because there are so many ...more

May 12, 2025 - Reread Review | Defo still a big fan of this book. And I just realized that this reread falls within the third-anniversary mark of my first book read. Addie and (view spoiler) forever! <3

May 11, 2022 | There are some novels that you know are destined to become a personal favorite within a few pages of reading them; The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue truly is one of them! This is easily going to be one of my FAVORITES of the year -- V.E. Schwab did such an amazin

I loved this book! There's so much I want to write about the book but I can't for the life of me do it without giving all the spoilers.

This book moved so slow and while I did enjoy the ending and it did have me feeling a lot of things, I had a hard time picking it up to read because it just did not keep my attention. I think the plot had really amazing potential but it fell a little flat for me. I love Schwab’s other books way more.

This… this was amazing. I usually read so quickly but this took me almost two weeks because I wasn’t ready for it to end. It was written beautifully and ended in a way that I wouldn’t have expected, but was definitely happy with. 10/10 recommend and am very excited to read anything else Schwab creates.
