“Porque la chica de la que se ha enamorado se ha marchado. Y él sigue aquí. Y lo recuerda todo.”
sugerí este libro para el club de lectura ya que tenía elementos que a todos nos interesaba, pero realmente lo mencioné porque me habían dicho que te hacía sufrir. y así fue.

I loved everything about this book. The writing was so beautiful. I felt pretty much every feeling imaginable while reading this. I’m kind of at a loss for words, to be honest.
Addie was such a compelling character. I could understand her yearning for more out of life. I could understand her need for freedom. She was actually pretty relatable, or as relatable as an immortal person can be. Seeing her life throughout the years was so exciting. I loved seeing her influence ideas into people who had ...more

wow okay, this book was great!!! the characters were beautifully written and there was a cat named “Book” 🥺 how cute is that?!?
the only reason it wasn’t 5 stars for me was because i felt i didn’t connect with the story at the beginning. i started to connect with the story when addie and henry met. the ending was 🥺🥺 i definitely cried a tear or two.
overall, the story was beautifully written and I LOVED V.E. Schwab’s writing style and I would definitely buy more of her books.

"But humans are messy, Luc. That is the wonder of them. They live and love and make mistakes, and they feel so much"
"The Invisible Life of Addie Larue" is a book for dreamers. That's the only way I can see to describe this work of art, it made me want not just to live but live fiercely
But I’m not going to lie, it did kind of let me down in some aspects. I needed more closure at the ending, more development of some characters and their relationships, sometimes more explanations and less details… ...more

It’s also difficult for me to wholly empathize with a character without faulting them. While the characters all have faults, V.E. Schwab masters the art of weaving the good with the bad of her characters and thus creating dimensional characters that don’t feel like characters in a story, but people... friends you know, protect, fight with, but ultimately love completely.

"I remember you."
The story takes a while to build up but I hung it in there and it was worth it. This book definitely clung a little to my soul. I wish there would be a sequel to this book. I really want Addie and Henry to end up together. ...more

loved it so much. my go to romance book recommendation. beautifully written but still has an interesting plot- this may be a stretch but i'd say it's even in leagues with a picture of dorian gray and books of that nature. solid 10/10.
