Similarly to "Conversations with Friends", this is a very character driven story. It's as messy and as emotional as it can be, a full roller coaster of (mostly) depressing and lonely endeavours.

I thoroughly enjoyed the way this story was told and the fact that there were no quotation marks. I personally found Marianne irritating a lot of the time. Also, I wasn't pleased with the way it ended, it was a bit abrupt and not exactly satisfying. ...more

Me encanto lo real que fue la historia, no es un romance que solamente se enfoca en eso sino que lo que hizo que le ponga ese puntaje es lo real de la historia, de la falta de comunicación, de los sentimientos de cada personaje y de sus pensamientos, haciendo que de a momentos se llegue a melentendidos. The writing style, the depth of the characters, the vibes, and the relatability of certain thoughts (at least for me), made this such an interesting read. The plot was practically nonexistent, and it still managed to keep my attention.
It did turn out to be a lot heavier than I initially thought it'd be, so I might not reread it as often as I normally would (because of triggers).
