OH. MY. GOSH. i’m so proud of everyone that kept that ending spoiler-free because HOLY CRAP WHAT WAS THAT???

i’ll be honest—i dnf’d this book once, and while im really glad i picked it back up, i definitely had a few problems with it.

first and foremost, i hate it when fantasy worlds completely different from our world use OUR curse words. i think it makes the writing seem sloppy and immature. using the f-word 99 times in a book not set on earth is such a bizarre choice, and i just coul ...more
