i really enjoyed this book!! i was bored at times ngl, i’m not really one for long, overdrawn explanations & this had a lot of that. besides that point, it was so good.

THE CHARACTERS!!! i literally loved everyone who was introduced (ofc not barlowe or his crew). i grieved, cried, laughed - all alongside them.

this book. THIS. DAMN. BOOK. way too good. i’ve been wanting to read this book since it came out and i’m so glad that i finally did. i was a bit afraid that it was overhyped, but honestly… it deserves every ounce of hype it receives. this book had me sweating, crying, kicking my feet, and screaming. and i loved every second of it!

I’ve spent three days straight putting everything I had to do in second plan just to read this book lol Extremely addictive, could not put this down for a single second! It’s been a while since I’ve been this immerse in a fantasy a book and I’ve missed it so bad.

Loved the characters, the dragons, the romance and basically everything about this book. I took half a star always for two reasons:

Ufff, the ending helped me to give the 4 starts.
It is an incredible read, the backstory, the dragons, and the academy, are very well written, the idea is clear and spot on. Truly. I do recommend the read, page-turner. I loved the characters, every and each one of them.
But why 4⭐️? Because I believe in chapter 30, the way that the writer wrote this particular scene feels copied, the words did not feel unique, it was as if I had already read them somewhere else. It just did not flow. I don't kno ...more

A lot of this I foresaw. Some of this I spoiled.
But I’m still in love with this story all the same 🤍
I have cried for a book in so long, and I knew the ending was going to be a twist! 😭

It took me way too long, but I finished this book.
I regret not finishing this sooner.
