Estaba muy emocionada cuando me enteré de que esta historia existía. Me encanta la idea de una serie de libros inspirados en villanos y este en particular, dado que siempre me pareció divertido Capitán Garfio. A pesar de que sentí que al pasar las páginas, fue perdiendo un poco su magia, conseguí leerlo en un par de horas.

guys this book exceeded my expectations… it was so good. i’m seriously so thankful to have seen this book get recommended on tiktok somewhere bc i absolutely ate this book up. i’m surprised with how fast i finished it.

i loved it so much, and the characters were written beautifully. it’s also dual pov!!!! it was so interesting to see wendy and james slowly fall in love with each other from both of their points of view & seeing james’s realize his true feelings made my heart burst tbh. ...more

Since Jason Issac was Captain Hook, I have fancied all Captain Hook's since. So when I came across this book, I was immediately *Hooked* ;)
What I really loved about this book was how the villain wins the girl.
I went in trying to forget I was reading a Peter Pan retelling, this was also my first Emily McIntire book and SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
The way she's written this book was just amazing, I was so completely enthralled into this book - I couldn't put it down even if I wanted to.

3.5⭐️ very spicy. Honestly a great read, I just didn’t like the plot twist because I saw it coming a mile away. Because the plot twist was so obvious it made the ending of the book very unsurprising and there was no feeling of shock at what happens. I still recommend it as a good smutty dark romance.
