enemies to lovers? but constantly going back and forth? Major turn off. Want a Peter Pan dark telling? Read The Never King.

This was a dark contemporary romance retelling of Peter Pan, with Wendy and Hook as our main characters, and it was really good. It was sexy, steamy, and intriguing! I loved Hook's personality and his thirst for vengeance against Peter! I also really enjoyed how the author incorporated the characters from the original fairy tale to the story and the plot. Can't wait to read more from this author! ...more

So good! Emily always writes the best angsty love stories while giving plot twist endings that will leave you in shock for days. I love this book for its drama and twists and turns. If you’re looking for more passionate love though- Scarred is for you ;)
