before reading this i feared that the concept of this book would be all toxic and cringey where archer was going to be this stereotypical damaged boy and bree would be the girl to fix him but i was happy this wasn’t true. archer’s issues with being dependent in light of his disability and having no confidence due to it made complete sense. i liked that instead of accepting that he would always just exist in bree’s shadow he decided to venture out alone to figure out his identity so he could ...more

On one hand I really enjoyed this story and the romance. I thought this couple was super cute and was exactly what each other needed to grow. I really loved how they brought each other out of their comfort zone and loved each other so much. The backstories just made me so sad, but I loved how it brought everything in this book together. i. freaking. loved. this. book. the characters, the plot, the romance, everything!! i was so immersed by the story and wanted to know more abt each character especially bree and archer <3 archer is so sweet and he’s such a gentlemen and i loved his character sm!!
i hated tori and travis hale since day 1, but loved all the other characters. i enjoy how the book represents disabled people also, archers and bree’s traumas made the characters more realistic and i enjoyed reading their stories and un ...more

Wow... this book was spectacular.
Both the main characters' back-stories were heart wrenching but together their love was so poetic and beautiful. I couldn't get enough of Bree and Archer, the way they loved each other was amazing. Safe to say my standards just got a million times higher 😭😭😭 I loved all (most) of the characters as well, the little town they lived in felt so cozy i just wanted to live there too!

wow. just wow. I can totally understand the hype around this book. I’d had it in my bookshelf for a while and I picked it up on a whim yesterday already knowing it was time for me to start it and i’m just - WOW. I don’t think i’ve ever cried this much over a book, it was so so sad but so beautiful. I need to read any and every Mia Sheridan book there is now. This was a great way to spend my mid-week weekend off from work. I want o go back and reread it all over again. UGH I JUST LOVE ARCHER HALE
