Love & Other Words by Christina Lauren is an excellent dual-timeline book that had me almost crying my eyes out at the end. I don’t cry, but I was close on this one. Such a sweet romance can cause you to believe in timeless love.

i’m stumped. i have no idea what to rate this. but i will say that so far, i think this is my favorite christina lauren novel.
despite my declaration, i’m torn. this includes two of my favorite romance tropes: friends to lovers & second chance. this also has a dual timelines and normally i tend to prefer one over the other, but i do think this handled it really well although i think i like the “then” portions more. i was invested in both ...more

while i do understand why everyone thinks this is one of christina and lauren’s best, i also think it could’ve been much stronger

5 stars ⭐️ This is most definitely one of my fav romances I read this year. The ending not only left me in tears but the entire story was just so beautiful. I definitely was a bit huh about a few things towards the ending but it was still too good to not get 5 stars !!
I'm sad it took me as long as it did to finally sit down and read this....
It was BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely loved this book. Honestly, I pictured young Elliot as a baby Spencer Reid and adult Elliot as Sam Winchester???? Please tell me if you did also!!!
