A beautiful, heart wrenching and warm book on romance. This book is written so beautifully and the authors have done a fantastic job of spinning a classic childhood friends to lovers trope into a masterpiece! There were lots of instances where I didn't particularly agree with the characters decisions but I loved the feel of this book. this book is easily one of my all time favorites. i loved the characters so so much. i didn’t find it to be predictable and i loved the writing. it had a then/now parallel storylines happening and i looooove when books do that. it reminded me a bit of people we meet on vacation but i liked this one more. it did right what i think pwmov did wrong. i didn’t find it to be super cheesy. i read this in about two days but easily could have been one if i wasn’t annotating it. if you like emily henry bo
