A beautiful, heart wrenching and warm book on romance. This book is written so beautifully and the authors have done a fantastic job of spinning a classic childhood friends to lovers trope into a masterpiece! There were lots of instances where I didn't particularly agree with the characters decisions but I loved the feel of this book. This was the most wholesome and perfect book I’ve ever read. Macy and Elliot are just so so precious. I want to protect them with everything in me to make sure that they never change. What they have is what anyone can only dream of. That one person that understands all of you unlike any other person. this book is easily one of my all time favorites. i loved the characters so so much. i didn’t find it to be predictable and i loved the writing. it had a then/now parallel storylines happening and i looooove when books do that. it reminded me a bit of people we meet on vacation but i liked this one more. it did right what i think pwmov did wrong. i didn’t find it to be super cheesy. i read this in about two days but easily could have been one if i wasn’t annotating it. if you like emily henry bo
