This was such a cute and fun summer contemporary, with a low stakes plot and a really sweet romance! Meredith, our FMC and Wit (Stephen), our MMC, had such a sweet relationship and I adored their interactions. I also loved the family bonding, and the fun little assassin plot. I think the only thing that bothered me about this story was the pop culture references, especially the overuse of hashtags, Instagram, and the occasional Timotheé Chalamet references (who I love, but don’t like to be re ...more

Such a cute story but also dealt with the topic of grief so well! I love Wit and Meredith’s relationship so much! The vibes in this were perfect as we lead up to summer and made me so excited to go swimming this summer! The Taylor Swift references were so fun to spot and I love how she included them in this book! The inclusion of the game of assassin made this so entertaining because there was never a dull moment! Highly recommend this one if you want a quick and fun summer romance!
