this was cliché, super ya, quite cute and a short read. nothing special, nothing new, nothing I haven't read before. it checked the boxes that lies in the foundation of quite literally any romance book. there were some cute moments, but nothing unique or memorably swoon worthy. this book relies heavily on familiar romance tropes, lacking the originality that sets standout novels apart in the genre.

Screaming, crying, throwing up because of how emotional and cute those last few chapters were-
First off, I LOVE LIZ. I can relate to her so well. She’s a fellow ginger, likes to read, likes cats, falls for the brunette sporty guy, shy and awkward sometimes, makes a playlist for every occasion, and likes Taylor Swift - she just like me fr 😭

what a lovely book!!! a great way to end the 2023 reading saga :)
finished this book in a single 4 hour sitting and i loved it. forget how much i enjoyed it, the second you make a reference to new year’s day by taylor swift, it’s officially a 5 stars in my eyes.
Everything about this book is just perfect. Liz and Wes were made for each other and the movie’s references are amazinggggg. I had butterflies the entire time I was reading. This book is waaaaay better than any romantic movies. Thank you for this, Lynn Painter.
