I only gave this book five stars because of the epilogue, other than that it would’ve been a four star book, maybe three I don’t know. Looking back I don’t regret reading this book but sometimes I sit in my room and just think about my decision on reading it. Lily and Atlas were great characters. I loved the part about the letter and Ellen, I don’t understand why most people didn’t like them but I did. They were a great part of the book in my opinion and made me like the book more. PLEASE CHECK TW'S BEFORE READING THIS BOOK

Okay so I went into this book knowing somewhat what was going to happen but- omg it was so painful and still super unexpected. There were parts in this book where I was on the verge of tears and parts where I was so angry.

4.5. wowww. this was so powerful and an amazing book!! i really get the hype. this book was sooo beautiful. i was so invested in this story and i really cared for all the characters as they were very developed and crafted so well. i think this book really brings awareness to difficult topics in a great way and i learned a lot from it. everything tied together so perfectly in the end and i just had to really think about everything. one of my top favorites for sure! i was expecting a super heartbr ...more

Overall, this was a good book. I enjoyed the plot line and appreciated the bravery the main character exuded.

What knocked it down a bit for me was the predictability and cheesiness of it. The chapters written to Ellen were odd. I guess it’s a unique spin on a journal, but it seemed forced to me. Also, the “naked truth” thing got old the first time they said it.

All in all, I enjoyed the book and can see why so many people love it!
