I've no idea how to rate this😭
story wise it's 2.5 ⭐ but that authors note at the end broke me ahh
had issues with two things though:
1)
uhh yeah right, trans people (or any people actually) who change their name aren't valid. brilliant.
2) Lily (the MC) refers to a person (who's gender she doesn't know) as "he or she"... she could've just used "they"-its gender ne ...more

I just wanna start of by saying this book definitely opened my eyes to the side of domestic abuse we don’t usually see and really gave the victim’s point of view in a abusive situation.
I loved Lily and Allysa as characters in this story.
Okay maybe I’m just strange but it didn’t cry during this book. After seeing so many people cry i fully expected to cry, don’t get me wrong the book definitely made me feel a full range of emotion.

I am probably one of the last people to read this book, but now I can say I understand the hype. I honestly was scared to finish it; by the end I felt like all the characters were real people. The quotes? Immaculate. The plot twist? Crazy.

I had an 5 hour drive to Paris so I read It Ends With Us in one sitting. It was a good book and Colleen Hoover always gives me the chills with her books, however I find this book a tad overrated because it did not make me cry as the entire internet suggest you will by reading this book. This book is one of the best I've read. It's fast paced and easy to get into. It brings light to situations people go through and it is executed wonderfully. You grow attached to the characters and you seem to go through every emotion Lily is going through in the book. I would recommend this to anyone but I strongly recommend who wants to read this to look up the trigger warnings.
