This book was my first read from Colleen and I wish I would’ve started with a different book first only because this book made me feel so many things. From start to finish, I was hooked and constantly conflicted. This book was a complete page tuner but at some moments, it was kinda hard to read so I kept having to put the book down and take a break. This book was beautifully written and it had me sobbing the whole way through. At lot of moments in this book made me really upset but I still loved ...more

this book is SO IMPORTANT TO READ. tw: domestic abuse, sa

this book is so beautiful and heartbreaking and real. i dont want to give much away about the plot, so i will say that this book made me think twice about how i perceive people trapped in abusive situations. it is so easy to look and judge and not understand why they dont leave, but this book really sheds light on how not everything is as black and white as it arguably should be. my eyes were opened and i finished the book with a bigger wo ...more
