this book showed me the battle that people have to fight everyday when it comes to abusive relationships. it completely breaks my heart to know where this story comes from and my heart goes out to colleen hoover and to anyone else in the world who has or is currently going through this. <3

I'm looking back at a couple of the reviews I've written in the last couple of years, and PLEASE IGNORE THE PARTS IN THE REVIEW FROM 2021-22!!!!

While yes, I admit I really enjoyed this book when I read it the first and only three times, I am now a changed person. I first read it when I was 16, and now at almost 20, I learned the importance of discerning what is good for you and what isn't. no se si decir que me decepcionó, tenia muchas expectativas y realmente esperaba llorar a mares en el final, y eso q lloro con casi cualquier libro, pero no pasó.
el primer amor es un tema super lindo y que creo que se manejo bastante bien
Representa muy bien lo que debe ser estar en una relación abusiva, lo que siente Lily es completamente entendible de principio a fin y creo que Coleen lo describe de forma muy inteligente

ummmmmmm. I thought this book was supposed to destroy me mentally. It did nothing of the sort. It wasn’t bad, like, I enjoyed reading it. But it wasn’t amazing. Personally there were way too many smut scenes, as in, I was so bored of them having sex all the time. I also found that lily repeated the same stuff so many times. It just felt like I kept on reading the same ‘deep’ quotes again and again, slightly re phrased. That being said I still liked this book.
