The two main ways I would describe this book
1. A little too real
2. Illicit affairs and nothing new by Taylor swift
Sally Rooney just does a great job of making everything so realistic that it’s almost scary. The way they talk to each other and their conversations are just like something I would actually say to people. It makes you think about how unrealistic conversations in some books are, and how they say things you would never say to people.

2.75 ⭐️ i genuinely don’t know what to think about this book, i had high expectations and i feel disappointed. the way this was written was kinda weird and i didn’t like the fact that it was constantly jumping i felt confused and like i had to continuously fill in the blanks myself. the ending felt very open, i don’t feel like the entire book led to an ending that ties together. overall, im not the biggest fan of this or the writing style but i think i’m still going to give the show a chance

No me enganché mucho que digamos, pero igual hay varias partes que me encantaron. La frase de "No soy una persona religiosa, pero a veces pienso que Dios te hizo para mi", me mató.
No me enganché con este libro, más que nada porque me gusta leer romance y este libro si tiene romance, pero se centra más en lo que son los conflictos e inseguridades de los protagonistas. ...more

I think this was a very good coming of age book showing how people change in different stages of their lives but remain the same at the same time. I thought it was beautiful how through everything Connell and Marianne always found a way back to each other but they also frustrated me so much.

I hated Connell’s behavior in the beginning of the book and I don’t think being a teenager is a good excuse for it. He’s apologized many times but their dynamic still didn’t change very much, just friends ...more

This book is pretty good, I feel like it was maybeee over hyped a little bit, but its still a good book to read, lots of drama, and shows the struggle of friends with benefits and on again off again relationships
