taylor Jenkins Reid has this remarkable way of creating these rich worlds out of Hollywood or the music scene that others would write about with frivolity
her voice as an author is precise and this book specifically just made me want to highlight and underline everything, until the whole thing was neon
daisy and billy and the interview writing style and everything and … gosh I loved it
one of the easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given 🌟

truly formidable
Enjoyable read, this format was new and fun. Although it did not give me the same impact as Malibu rising I still enjoyed it. I have to say the band and the albums felt very real especially having the song lyrics of the album on the last couple of pages. Made me forget this is a fictional band. Also loved the small Mick Riva/Malibu rising reference

Still had to write a review of Daisy Jones and the six since it is being filmed as I am writing this. I’m absolutely in awe with this book. The plot twist, dialogue, the characters, literally everything is a Fucking 10/10. I would highly recommend to anybody who go hasn’t read it yet!!! 💓

I hate to say it but I actually preferred the tv show offer the book. I actually think the changes they made suited the story better and I would’ve enjoyed the book more had those events happened in this book
The script like style took a lot to get used to and I found it difficult to understand what actually happened when there’s multiple people giving different accounts of a story. I understand that it was supposed to be about how everyone saw the events differently but it wo ...more

If you ever read a Taylor Jenkins Reid book, you have to know that in the end you are going to be in pain. Not because the ending is sad, but because they are always so real. I felt the same think with Evelyn Hugo and now this one… It is always so easy to read and finish her books because the writing style is just so mesmerizing.
