the first time i read this book, i went into it with the vague knowledge that it was fiction, and yet i left it convinced that daisy jones & the six were a real band. after all, i wasn’t particularly knowledgeable about the time period and the rock & roll scene, so it was plausible that something like this could’ve slipped by me, right? i remember googling them because i wanted to listen to their music and being so disappointed when i realized that it didn’t actually exist. 4.25 stars :)
what a wild ride. the writing in this blows my mind, taylor jenkins reid is just something else.
this book is a solid 4.25 stars for me! to be honest, i'm sort of disappointed and was left feeling unsatisfied by the end of this. that may be because this book has been hyped up soooo much, and while i completely understand the hype, might i ask what the "huge plot twist" was?? there were a feww small plot twists, but nothing that left me shocked.
nothing really happened in this book, ho ...more

Billy I love you pero cómo puedes ser tan egoísta?

this was a reread before the show came out. i’m obsessed with this book and i love it so much. i’m obsessed with books that are about being famous and i love the 70s vibe. i’m a huge rock and roll fan, especially 70s rock and this book is perfect. im also a huge fleetwood mac fan and this book reminds me so much of them.

i am shook. you can't tell me this is a work of fiction, that daisy jones & the six didn't actually exist. everyone felt so believable, so real, like i could hunt for a netflix documentary about them or find them on wikipedia. and i wanted to!
'daisy jones & the six' somehow managed to become the very air i breathed; their joy and their struggles and their pain, i felt everything. i just wanted to reach into the pages and give daisy a hug. i've never felt so raw after reading a book, i might actu ...more

I wish I liked this as much as other people did, I couldnt enjoy the writing style.
