I dont know how to begin to rate this.
I stayed up way, way, way too late reading this book. It’s just that kind of book.

At first, I wasn't enjoying the writing, I found Monique to be cringy and idk just wasn't a fan of the way Taylor wrote her character at first. I thought she came across as a very bland character and kind of stereotypical. As the story started acquiring more "rhythm" and "substance" I found myself enjoying when Monique had the chance to "speak" or tell the reader more about her life. As for Evelyn, I thought her character was beautifully written; her being a complex human being but simple at ...more

I love this book, I read it whenever I'm feeling down, and it cheers me right up again, then crushes my soul, then I reread. Its basically about the price of fame, and how Evelyn got to where she did, even if she didnt make a lot of choices. Its not like its the most well written book ever, but its really fun to read and good for when its a rainy day and you dont have the attention span for anything else. This book has a special place in my heart ♡
