Mi problema con los re-tellings es el siguiente: terminan siendo muy predecibles. Sabes lo que sucederá en Cinder después de haber leído unos pocos capítulos. El personaje principal no tiene nada que lo haga resaltar, aparte de ser mitad androide; Cinder es otra protagonista del montón, quien es aburrida, carece de autoestima, y deja que su madrastra la maltrate. Awesome awesome Cinderella retelling, so awesome I think it definitely outshines it!
I'm so happy I read this book,all the characters had so much depth and those of you who have been following my updates about this book know that I reallllllly like Kai. really like him.
The parallels were so cute and nostalgic yet brand new that made me curse myself for not thinking of the premise myself, yeah we all think that.
But lets be honest Marissa Meyer does a fantastic job in writing this book and weaving ...more

This book was just so amazing. I was skeptical to read it at first and I don't even know why, maybe just the fact that Cinderella's a cyborg... But anyway, it had everything that makes a book great: funny, strong protagonist, bitchy antagonist, amazing love interest, and the plot moved nicely. Although, I totally predicted the ending.

I just changed my rating from 3 to 5. I'm usually not a hesitant person, but this series is just...weird.
I read this book before, skimmed it and found it confusing and just plain weird.
Rereading it a couple of nights ago made me realize how unfocused I've been while reading the first time. I absolutely loved it! I'm never judging books rapidly again. ...more

Oh. My. God. I can't think right now. All I know is I want the second book. No. I NEED the second book NOW! That was an incredible thrill ride with tons of twists and turns and oh my gosh. A-ma-zing. AMAZING!
My hopes weren't high for this book because I thought it was going to be "another Cinderella story" but it wasn't. It was AWESOME!

I was pretty skeptical about this book thinking it wasn't going to be very good because it is based off of A fairy tale. Well boy was I wrong. This book was amazing I loved all the action. The ties between Cinder and Cinderella were actually really cool. The twists were really good and the story and plot were awesome. For some weird reason I just absolutely loved reading aloud with this book, it just sounding so cool. Can't wait to read Scarlet I'm so excited. Wait ago Marissa Meyer!!! ...more
