Squid's Summary.
Prior to going into this book, I hadn’t read the description nor did I know anything about it. I was heading in blind, to say the least. However, by just a chapter or two in, I felt like I knew the plot as it was unfolding. The story in The Red Queen is certainly not a new one, and had I read the dust jacket before I started, I feel like I could’ve saved myself a few hours of reading and gotten just about the same out of it as I did by sitting and reading it all.
