A Negotiation of Wounds delves into divorce from a new perspective: that of the lawyers. As Preston and Timothy go at it before their respective clients ever make it into court, the shady dealings of the two lawyers slowly come to light. A gripping look into the sometimes vileness of divorce, the book still allows the reader to feel a sense of hopefulness for its characters as they embroil themselves in battle.
