Beautifully written novel. I LOVED all the sections where Benny and his mother Annabelle are, but the rest of the novel was too experimental? for me! I love to read because of the writing, the story, the characters. When other stuff is filling the pages, it just isn’t captivating or interesting for me as a reader. I understand she was making a point about the “stuff,” it just dragged on too long for me.

Love, love, love. I can’t wait to read it again. Best book I’ve read in so long. And an absolute paradox of wanting to constantly be reading it - and never wanting it to end.
