i get it non-desi authors do it too but they’re equally if not more cringey bc they been doin that since birth (wtf is a “willy”) 😭
beyond that, the female character 200% has her relatable moments and I want her to just be a bad bich in her black clothes all the time bc 👑

This is my first ever South Asian romance novel that I am reading and I must say, I was not disappointed! Such a cute yet deep story, with the play of family dynamics and societal pressures as well as the strength and struggles of a woman who has been excellent at her job and yet not recognised just because she does not have a man yet.
Definitely a fun read and one of my favorite books!
