I love this series so much, but I can't allow the monstrosity of this first book to pass unscathed. I've sat on this review for a year firstly because the mental void I sent myself into after reading this can't be explained easily. Secondly, I don't have the adequate degrees and grasp of the English language to describe this book. Dating Dr. Dil must be experienced in audiobook format while you're in the gym. I swear to you that it will light a fire in you like no other. You'll burn the most cal ...more

Nobody talk to me. I want a prem so bad. Everyone just get lost and I need a public apology from nisha sharma for making me swoon for a desi fuckboy like that and for creating standards that no one will live up to.

NISHA I LOVE YOU

THE GOL GAPPE CONTEST, THE PUNJABI REP (YES BOYZZZZZ), THE AMAZING AUNTIES, HIM PUTTING A PAYAL ON HER, HIM BEING OBSESSED W HER IN INDIAN CLOTHES, IT LITERALLY BEING A BOLLYWOOD MOVIE, THEM BEING OBSESSED W TAYLOR SWIFT

I LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS! Yaaaas for the QUEEN Kareena! I feel strangely emotional after finishing this book.
I was sold from the dedication page:
“For the women who have been told to lower their standards. I hope you never do.”
Claps for Nisha Sharma

And I can’t wait for Bobbi and Benjamin’s story yayy. I’m guessing Deepak and Veena’s story will be third?

🚫 slight spoilers ahead 🚫

Romance novels sell an idealized fantasy that we all want to experience. They may be fiction, but there is a reason why so many people connect to love stories. Because that’s the type of feeling we want to give, and want to receive.

You are right. I read romance novels to fantasize about love because obviously my life is boring af. But you see when I read romance novels that make me want to murder the mc's a rant follows for sure. And this rant would be a little biased an
