It tries a little too hard to be hip and modern. This book is absolutely ladened with pop culture references. The problem with such books is that; give it a few years and now your book is extremely dated. That is the case with this book. I felt like a lot of the references in this book would have been more relevant when I was in high school (which was about nine years ago).
