Maybe I'd heard too much about this book, before I read it. Maybe Gaiman's other books made me set the bar too high.
Whatever it is, I found the book exceptionally well-written but with a frustrating pace and a pay-off that was lacking. Oh and there was a bit of cute tying up of the loose ends at the end of the book as well.
