I thought this book was decent. Fun story, interesting transitions from one scene to another. Fun short timeline, but its no Watership Down.
I think I expected to be captivated more by this book, so I was a little let down in that aspect. This story was great though, and I loved how the internal dialogue of the dogs was kept super curious, they were fascinated by the small things they found in the wilderness.
