From the Bookshelf of La Crescent Public Library…

[close] Our library book club read Now is Not the Time to Panic for our July 2024 selection. We had a good and nostalgic discussion about the intensity of teenage years, coming of age, living in small towns, and figuring out who you are.

This was a lot of members first read by Kevin Wilson and there was interest by many in picking up his other novels for more quirky characters. While this book lent itself to characters facing different traumas, it still used levity and friendship throughout the storytelling.

Overall, a great choice for summer, easy to read, interesting and provoking.
