This book was crazy. I've never read a novel that made me second guess the ending the way this one has. This story was the perfect mix of thrill and smut with an insane plot twist. This is my first novel I've read by Colleen Hoover and I will definitely be reading more of her. Run and buy this book. Seriously, run.

3.75. I haven't finished a book this fast in a long time. Maybe it was because it was a physical book instead of the kindle version.
The story was a little slow at times. I had the mystery mostly figured out before the ending, so it wasn't super suspenseful. But it kept my interest. If it were a movie, it would be rated X. Very sexually graphic, which wasn't necessary. The book overall wasn't bad, just not great.

Verity was our library book club's June read, and the consensus was neither a thumbs up or down, but primarily a halfway point.

Where some didn't like the book was the overall plausibility of the story. Without giving any spoilers, several of our book club felt the secret around Verity herself was not likely.
