I love a good dystopian novel and this one was downright eerie! It made me think of Margaret Atwood or Kazuo Ishiguro.

A good discussion read for our library book club. Feelings on the book varied, so gave it a solid 3 as some enjoyed it more than others, but it definitely made everyone think. The gender disparity and pressure on mothers in particular was the biggest draw and discussion point. There was some discrepancy on what a few readers were willing to believe or not, but this one of the first dystopian novels we've read as a group and overall it was interesting, thought provoking, well written, and even a
