A book that’ll make you stare out and contemplate the world. There are no tidy resolutions or closure in this lyric novel. It’s a thinker, an unanswered wound, a future still in the making.

Salt the Water is a story of a teen trying to make their way in the world despite the microaggressions, misjudgments, and serious mishaps that occur around them. How do we go after our dreams when those who should mentor us belittle us? How much can one person expect to carry?
