A debut novel about one Native girl's quest to figure out what has happened to the young women disappearing from the reservation - then her sister vanishes too. The author beautifully interweaves crime and suspense with the magic and wonder of Native myths and storytelling. I think he did a great job capturing the loneliness of the outlier and the determination of her convictions.
