Incredible book by someone with an incredible life.

Ariel Henley, and her twin sister, Alixandria, "Zan," were born with crouzon syndrome, a genetic issue where their skulls were fully fused at birth. Already a miracle, they were the first twins to survive the difficult diagnosis and it wasn't without a lot of struggle and surgeries. Teens and adults alike would be moved by this engaging, honest, and inspiring memoir. The author, Ariel Henley, and her twin sister, Alixandria, "Zan", were born with Crouzon Syndrome, a diagnosis that means their skulls were fully formed at birth. They were the first set of twins to survive the syndrome, and underwent numerous surgeries to break the bones in their skull to allow for organ development and growth.
