I LOVED this story. I was completely swept away by it. What a fascinating concept that whisked me away to an Indian ashram where a young boy grows up being the color blue after being bitten by a snake. His parents believe he is the reincarnated god, Vishnu, sent to heal the world. Kalki, the boy, is raised with strict practices and repeatedly told his doubt or his misdeeds affect the health of those around him and that he must believe with all his being in his future as a god.
