[close] This book came recommended by one of our Friends of the Library. Dear Vaccine is a compilation of global voices speaking on the pandemic. The book is divided into six themes: Lessons, Gratitude, Grief, the Clinic, Nostalgia, and Envisioning the Future.

Edited by award winning poet Naomi Shihab Nye, along with former surgeon general Richard Carmona and Ohio governor Mike DeWine, the book is formatted like a small coffee table collection or book of letters/poems. It's a simple, but very emotional, book that dives into the depths of the past two years and how isolated we all were. Yet, there is hope packed into its 150 pages.
