I enjoyed this more than I enjoyed the Iliad, but the actual 10 year voyage did not take up as much space on the page as I had anticipated, and I find myself quite disappointed with that.
While I understand there were situations going on elsewhere, and that Odysseus had somewhat of an unfortunate return home, I had hoped for more time and detail in the time after leaving Troy and before arriving in Ithaca.
