A happiness project is an attempt to incorporate new habits or responses into your life in order to make it happier. I like the deliberateness and reflectiveness that Gretchen Rubin displayed in this book. Some of her attempts worked for her, and some did not. The Happiness Project has been on my wishlist for quite awhile, but then I saw a few negative reviews and pushed it back. Anyways, it came about that I got it on Audible and was pleasantly suprised. It was nice to listen to something positive and inspirational on my drives.

It was an interesting enough book - and if you're going to read this, I'd do it close to New Years. She said a few things about happiness that really resonated with me, and a few things I totally disagreed with, in particular her insistence of what she likes doing being so incredibly static over the course of her life.
